The purchase of lumber is provided for the needs of MONDI SCP, a.s. We buy wide portfolio of lumber of specified quality and dimensions. Lumber is used for the production of pallets in MONDI SCP a.s., which are later used in the dispatch of our products. Lumber is thus an input commodity to ensure the production of pallets and the subsequent dispatch of MONDI SCP, a.s. to our customers.

The purchase of lumber is provided in accordance with the quality, technical, dimensional and logistical requirements for the production of pallets in MONDI SCP, a.s. This involves the purchase of blanks that already meet the required parameters without the need for further processing and the purchase of prisms, which are further processed into cubes.

The purchase of blanks and the subsequent production of pallets are carried out in the following wood species:

• spruce
• fir
• pine
• spruce
• poplar
